The Tournament of Roses Troop, makes its appearance
in the ROSE PARADE on New Year's morning.
Each year a new Troop is formed by combining:

EAGLE   SCOUTS           GOLD AWARD
	AND
From the                          Girl Scouts from the San Gabriel Valley Council      Mt. Wilson~Vista Council Boy Scouts of America                       Girl Scouts USA

Banding together, these Scouts join forces to form the "Tournament Troop" (the number of the Troop changes each year to coincide with the New Year) and are entrusted with leading the opening Flag Ceremony and carrying the banners announcing award-winning float entries in the annual Rose Parade.
